8–16 Week Puppy 3B ASSESSMENT PLAN

To make the most of your time with our specialist, every puppy owner completes a targeted intake prior to the session:

1. Puppy Development Questionnaire

• A focused questionnaire covering:
• Breeder/rescue background and early socialization history
• Household dynamics, daily routine, and puppy-proofing setup
• Feeding, bio-schedule, sleep patterns, and crate management
• Initial handling tolerance (paws, ears, mouth, and grooming)
• Natural arousal levels, energy spikes, and initial "landshark" biting tendencies

2. Short Video Submissions (3–4 Clips)

• Please submit a few brief, unedited videos showcasing:
• Your puppy moving through their normal home environment
• How your puppy settles or rests in their crate or pen area
• Play or interaction time with family members
• Mild handling or gentle brushing (if safe and well-tolerated)

Safety Note: Never push a puppy into fear, panic, or aggressive biting just to capture video. We want to see their authentic baseline!

Our puppy assessment is structured around early neurological

development, arousal regulation, and cooperative learning:

1. Developmental History Review (10–15 min): Discussing your questionnaire, daily schedule, and specific household goals.
2. Baseline Observation & Exploration (15–20 min): Observing how your puppy interacts with novel objects, sounds, and surfaces (proprioceptive and environmental curiosity).
3. Handling & Cooperative Care Audit (10–15 min): Evaluating your puppy's tolerance for gentle restraint, paw touching, and early grooming or veterinary preparation.
4. Initial 3B Puppy Analysis (10–15 min): Assessing Biome, Boundaries, and Bridge factors unique to your puppy's breed and temperament.
5. Immediate Management & Next Steps (10 min): Setting up house-training protocols, crate routines, and bite-inhibition strategies right away.
